Saw this weird plant somewhere in California.

Wandered onto a web site for trading these tiny artwork. Here are 3 that I made with markers on "Elepoo" paper. That's right, recycled elephant poo made into colored papers.

I've got several other colors but haven't played with them yet.

I've been playing around with a small tin of Winsor & Newton cake watercolors. Similar to the grade-school 'Prang' watercolor tin, the paints were definitely student quality. That being said, I think my composition and rendering of these fall leaves is pretty flat and uninteresting.

Critique would be most welcome!

I like the bright red, but the purplish red leaf beneath comes forward way too much. It should be less intense and perhaps a little more blue-green to make it recede into the back & look like it's laying under the red leaf more.
